Sunday Night Mind Dump

  – I’m completely blown away at what God is doing in our church. I preached on the tithe today and 5 people got saved! That’s completely God at work in hearts. 

• I’m getting really excited about the next chapter in our church’s history. For over 80 years God has been using Glad Tidings Church around the world. But we now know God has a new direction for us!

• May 31st we will vote as a church to accept Gods new plan for us. We will change our name to Coastal Virginia Church. We are trying to position ourselves to reach more people in the Coastal Virginia area. 

• In scripture… God often changes a name right before he does something great. We truly believe this is the case for our church as well. 

• This doesn’t negate our history. We are very proud of that. It’s just the next chapter in our church’s history. 

• I’m also excited about my oldest daughter turning 9 years old in a few weeks. Time has flown by. I have loved ever stage of her growing up. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her. 

• She also has her first School Play starting this week. She used to be terrified to sing in front of people. She’s over that. And even has a solo in the play. I’m pumped. 

• My travels are officially over for a few weeks. I’m so glad. I’m ready to get back into a routine. 

• I’ve also caught a cold along the way. Last week I felt horrible. Starting to feel better now.

• Today is Mother’s Day… And this chick is the greatest! Well at least in the top 3 mixed with Mother Teresa and Clair Huckstable from the Cosby Show. 

 
 – My Mom is the greatest as well. I’m so grateful for the way she raised me. 

• Naked and Afraid is on tonight. That’s sort of my guilty pleasure. 

• Ricky Fowler just went 6 under on the last 6 holes of the Players! What?!?!  That is incredible!

• In case you’re wondering…  If it’s not on ESPN or National Geographic… I usually don’t watch it. 

• One of my articles last week was shared so much… That Google started to think it was Spam! So thanks cool. 

• Thanks to everyone for reading. It’s cool getting to know so many of you from all over the world.
