Merry Christmas from The Hesters!

What an incredible week leading up to today. I’m sure by now many of you have crashed on the couch in total exhaustion. Santa has come. Gifts have been given. Parties have been attended. Huge dinners have been eaten.

As I sit back and reflect on the past few days… I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

First to God. For sending his son to a lost and broken world. All because he loved me! And you. And he does everything possible to draw us to himself. We saw that last night at our Christmas Eve service. Many responded, asking the God of the impossible to intervene in their lives. WoW!

Second my girls. Not sure exactly what I did to deserve these three… But I’m so glad they’re mine. From our Dec. 23rd Goodwill gifts to singing happy birthday to Jesus on the steps before presents… I love every moment with them. And the older they get… The more fun this all becomes. Can’t wait for the future with them.

(I bought Tiff this African Outfit from Goodwill. We always go on Dec. 23rd and try to find the funniest gifts we can on a $5 budget.)

Third for You. When I started this blogging journey almost a year ago now… I just hoped to pick up a hobby. Maybe a few people would read it. I never dreamed hundreds of thousands of people from over 150 countries would read what I posted. Thank you! We’ve been on this journey together. You’ve gotten to know more about me and my family. I have learned about a lot of yours as well. This has been quite the adventure.

What an amazing Christmas! I pray yours has been a blast as well.

Cheers to a great ending of 2015!

Merry Christmas!
